 Money:
You will need additional funds for any emergencies that may arise and for additional items nor included in your island vacation package. These items may include hotel, meals, transportation and airport taxes on the mainland as well as fist shop items, beverages, additional scuba dives, PADI certification courses, snorkeling trips, rental gear and gratuities on the island. Is it best to not rely on credit cards or travelers’ checks for any expenses on the mainland as many places do not accept them. If you arrive late and are unable to make your scheduled charter boat, you may have to pay up to $300 US cash to charter a small boat to our island. There is no regular boat taxi service or flights to our island. For emergency funds and for the above mentioned expenses, consider carrying up to $750 US cash to cover these expenses.
Cancellation Policy:In case of trip cancellation, notification must be given by a minimum of 60 days prior to your scheduled vacation package date to receive a refund of 50%. Late Arrival or Departure:Any conditions out of our control, such as weather, delayed flights or buses, or lost luggage, which delay your arrival or departure and cause variations form our scheduled itinerary, may add to your costs at your own expense. If you are delayed and do not catch the scheduled boat, and need a small boat charter to bring out to our private island at Glover’s Reef Atoll, from Dangriga, this can cost you as much as $300 US, one way.Safety and Assumption of Risk:
We maintain an excellent safety record. However, all outdoor experiences involve risk and we must recognize that accidents, bad weather or illness may occur. We cannot guarantee your safety. You are responsible for your own actions. There is a small risk involved in all activities on our trips. Before you are accepted on a trip, you must sign a Waiver of Liability that is sent to you after we receive your deposit. If you have questions about this document or would like to see one ahead of time, please feel free to request it. We assume no responsibility for injury to trip members, their personal belongings or for time or expenses occurred. Off The Wall Dive Center and Resort and Long Caye Management do not accept responsibility for your actions or your behavior one you are on your trip.
Trip Insurance:
Please make sure you have adequate trip insurance coverage before making your trip. This insurance should cover trip cancellation, lost luggage, and medical coverage for all water activities. For more information, please click on the PADI or DAN link on our website for travel insurance packages.
